BBW Annual Charity 2008/9 We are delighted to announce that, the President, Mrs Pauline Stewart of Ingram de Havilland's nominated charity for 2008/09 is Friends of Bedford Hospital. The charitable organisation ‘The Friends of Bedford Hospital’ is 104 years old and is entirely voluntary. Over the years the friends have adapted to change but their purpose remains constant: to raise money to help the hospital. They invite requests from all the hospital departments and wards for equipment and extras to improve the services and facilities for patients and staff. They donate funds to the most urgent requests. In the last 10 years our records show that they have given over £125,000 to various hospital departments. At each BBW meeting, there will be a charity raffle for Frriends of Bedford Hospital. We would ask all of our guests and members to support these raffles by providing prizes on the day.
