This month we have guest speaker

Anita Powell is the founder of Bedford Radio. Anita talks about the new community radio station, a station that aims to be the ‘Voice of Bedford’.

Anita was awarded #IamInspiring in 2016 by Evans Clothes, Garnier and Marie Claire Magazine for her voluntary and community work. A community worker who has worked with disadvantaged and hard-to-reach people will talk about her work and her love of Radio. She will also talk about her year-long personal challenge. The challenge was to become famous. This challenge was set after winning her #IamInspiring award; this feisty, eccentric, forty-something-year-old woman wanted to prove to the world and herself that life does not end at Forty.

If you’re new to networking, come along and see – we all know exactly what it’s like to walk into a room of strangers, and try our very best to make it fun, friendly and enjoyable.
