July’s Bedfordshire BusinessWomen Member Workshop will be run by Tracy Goodwin from Creations Flowers.
Tracy has a huge amount of experience in floristry, and you will have seen her work regularly at Bedfordshire BusinessWomen events.
For our members in July, Tracy will be giving away some of the tricks of her trade, so that you can take home new skills. The workshop will cover choosing the right vase, preparing your flowers once you have them home and knowing the difference between supermarket flowers and flowers from a florist.
Gain great insight in to the world of flower arranging, which you can use in your own office, or home.
Time: 9.30am – 11.00am

Bedfordshire BusinessWomen President, Amanda Murrell joined a discussion on BBC Three Counties Radio this Friday 7th June, entitled “Would you like to see more women in business?”.
The debate during the JVS Show included Ruby Mcgregor Smith, Chair of the Women’s Business Council who says we need more women in the workplace and Mike Buchanan who couldn’t disagree with her more. He says it takes time to train up women who simply go off and have babies which ends up costing the UK economy millions.
You can listen to Amanda’s contribution here via YouTube – she joins the discussion at 35.09mins.
